While Obama Played With His Selfie Stick…
Weekly Update from Dinesh D’Souza
How can we respect the office of the presidency when the man who holds that office is Obama? He’s had another busy week disrespecting his office and his country while America cowered in embarrassment.
What we can safely say by looking at the Obama example is that a guy without class doesn’t become a classy guy, even when he’s in the White House! Case in point:
While Obama played with his selfie stick and made overtures to himselfin the mirror, Denmark suffered two deadly terror attacks by Muslim extremists, one at a synagogue and one at a free speech rally. Fanatical Muslims are the only ones who hold that satire is an offense punishable by assassination.
The problem that America faces right now is twofold. First, we face the Islamic threat. Second, we face the Obama threat. While we are under attack from abroad, the very concept of the American way of life is under attack by Obama and his sheep. Obama’s tactic for dealing with Islamic extremism is to vet the grievances of the terrorists and look for Western flaws. Even ISIS has taken a cue from Obama, calling the Christians that they behead “Crusaders.”
I spoke with the Daily Caller this week about Obama’s insistence that Islam is not the problem and it is really America and the West that deserve condemnation. Obama has to rely on contortions to make these arguments, yet he still goes through the trouble of doing it. Will he next tell the Danes to get off their high horse about Islamic shootings given the misconduct of their ancient Viking ancestors?
One federal judge seems to understand Obama’s total disregard for the law and the constraints on his power, because this week, he blocked Obama’s executive amnesty, probably after reading Obama’s earlier admissions about its illegality!
On a different note, consider this: the Hollywood red carpets were once home to Ronald Reagan and John Wayne, and they’re now the land of Matt Damon and Michael Moore. How did we wind up here? In a PJTV panel discussion this week, I joined Alfonso Rachel, Andrew Klavan, and Roger Simon with host Bill Whittle to discuss how important entertainment is in culture and how Hollywood has ostracized conservatives from their town.
I’m closing in on 575,000 Facebook friends and supporters—and you can help me get there this week! I have so much I want to share with you each week, but only a small portion of it fits in my newsletter. Click hereto find out what you’re missing on Facebook every day!
P.S. If these rumors are true, Amazon made a bold move against the Obama administration when the FAA threatened their drone delivery system plans. What does it have to do with me? Click here to find out.
